Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Nepali Quotes and ABS Soft Pvt. Ltd. handle information in the Android/iOS app and at nepaliquote.com.
Information we collect
Accounts: name, email address, internal user ID, a one-way password hash, and sign-in timestamps. Submissions: quote text, stated author, category, account identity, and moderation status. Notifications: a Firebase installation/device token, platform, notification preference, and two-letter country code reported by the device locale. Service security: IP address may be processed for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and server logs.
Optional advertising data
When advertising is enabled, Google Mobile Ads may process device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and consent choices to provide, measure, secure, and—only where permitted and consented—personalize ads. Where required, Google’s consent flow is shown before personalized advertising is used.
How we use information
We use data to authenticate accounts, review quote submissions before publication, prevent abuse, deliver opted-in notifications, operate ads when enabled, secure the service, troubleshoot faults, and respond to privacy or content requests. Reading, listening, saving, and sharing quotes do not require an account.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by hosting and database providers used to run nepaliquote.com, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications, and Google AdMob when advertising is enabled. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
On-device features
Favorites and generated quote images are stored on your device. The system text-to-speech service processes text according to the voice service installed on your device. Removing the app may remove local preferences, but images already saved to your gallery remain until you delete them.
Retention and deletion
Account and submission records remain while your account is active or as needed for moderation and security. Invalid notification tokens are removed automatically. You can permanently delete your account and all quotes submitted by it inside the app or at /account/delete. Limited records may be retained only when legally required, to resolve disputes, or to prevent fraud, and are then isolated from normal use.
Security
Traffic is protected with HTTPS in production, passwords are hashed, mobile session tokens use secure device storage, website sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies, and administrative routes require authentication. No online system can promise absolute security.
Children
Nepali Quotes is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Do not create an account for a child. Contact us to request removal if you believe a child supplied personal information.
Your choices and rights
You may use the core quote library without an account, disable notifications or personalized advertising through applicable device and Google settings, delete local favorites, delete your account, or ask to access, correct, or remove personal information. Legal rights vary by country.
